Why do you need this? What does it do? The compressor takes the really loud noises and makes them quieter and the really quiet noises and makes them louder. Whats the point? You need consistency in a live performance. A Limiter keeps those louds spikes in audio or feedback from blasting your audience. A Gate makes sure a noise is loud enough before its sent to the sound system so you don't have the noise from all your mics creating noise at once. This unit does all three of these functions.
